Aji Ayuyo

An incredibly beautiful and colorful pepper. This pepper ripens from a dark purple to light purple then to a light orange then finally turns to a bright red. This pepper is a slow ripening pepper. The pods are grape shaped and about one inch long. This pepper is very thick and dense, this causes the compact plants to need some support. The foliage on this plant is green. A very tasty pepper with lots of sweetness and hints of fruitiness. a great pepper for pickling, making salsa, or eating raw. This pepper has a mild spiciness level of about one thousand Scoville units.
