Mild, Sweet & Snacking

California Wonder Bell 300

Each plant produces wonderfully sweet bell peppers that are typically 4 lobed, thick-walled, and blocky. The leafy plant habit provides good scald protection and the large rich green fruit turn red on the bush. A great choice for cool growing conditions

Cubanelle Pepper

Known as the Cuban pepper, and the Italian frying pepper; this versatile pepper is great to incorporate into grilling, salads, or soups! Peppers are sweet, and red in color when fully ripe, but far from the average bell pepper in flavor. With its thin walls, each pepper will grow with its own unique and beautiful shape.

Etiuda Orange Bell

Rich, sweet, citrus flavor! Noted as one of the easiest to grow and most adaptable sweet peppers we have grown and as a bonus, the flavor is outstanding. Our customers have raved about the merits of this pepper; the home gardeners and market farmers alike. Easily one of the best peppers we have ever tasted, it is sugary sweet when ripe. Blocky, thick-walled orange fruits are crisp, very sweet and juicy. These mandarin-orange bells can reach up to a half-pound in weight, and are lavishly produced on tall plants. Originally a Polish commercial variety, Etiuda is equally at home under row cover, in the greenhouse, or out in the garden

Fresh Bites Kitchen Counter Pepper Plant

How about a sweet, orange snacking pepper straight off the plant that’s on your kitchen counter? Fresh Bites Orange is the cutest crop that’s comfortable in a 6 inch pot and doesn’t require more than a sunny windowsill to produce its crunchy, tasty peppers. The plants will reach about 18 inches tall, put on lots of 2 ¼ inch long, wedge-shaped fruit, and look good the whole time!

Habanada Pepper Heatless

The world’s first truly heatless habanero! Bred by well-known organic plant breeder Michael Mazourek, Habanada is the product of natural breeding techniques. These exceptional snacking peppers have all of the fruity and floral notes of the habanero without any spice (even the seeds are sweet and add to the flavor). This 2-3 inch tangerine fruit stole the show at the 2014 Culinary Breeding Network Variety Showcase, where the fruit was made into a stunning sherbet. This exotic new pepper is sure to be the darling of the culinary scene, making it an excellent choice for market farmers, chefs and foodies.

Hungarian Yellow Sweet Wax

A creamy-yellow translucent color, very similar to the Banana Wax Pepper. Thin skin with thick flesh due to immaturity. Picked at an immature stage, it has a sweet hot flavor varying from warm to moderately hot. The color changes to an orange-red and the heat rises to an almost inedible intense heat while keeping its sweetness. Great to pickle this pepper or slice raw to top pasta dishes or salads!

Pepperocini

From southern Italy, this variety is ideal for pickled peppers. Fruits grow from 2-5 inches long. This variety will change colors depending on how it is prepared. At first, peppers will go from pink to red when they reach full maturity, and then once pickled it will turn pale yellow. 100-500 on the Scoville scale.

Pizza Pepper

If you like the flavor of hot peppers but not so much fire, Pizza Pepper will be a hit. It is the heaviest, most thick-walled pepper we have ever seen. This means big pepper wedges with just a hint of zing. The 3–4 inch pendulous, cone-shaped peppers on 14–18 inch tall plants are most flavorful when green, and sweetest when red. Early and prolific.

Prism Mini Bell

An astounding new variety for the snacking bell pepper fan! Beautifully uniform, tall, columnar plants pack on lots of 3–5 lobed, 2 ¼ inch tall and 2 ¼ inch wide fruit. The peppers ripen gradually from creamy green to bright red, offering harvest at any stage depending on one’s preference. The thick walls, sweet, bell pepper flavor and satisfying crunch make Prism a crowd pleaser, and the tight seed cluster makes cleaning a breeze. Be warned, the heavy load of fruit that each plant produces warrants a tomato cage or other support to keep the crop upright!

Sweetie Snacking Peppers

Snacking veggies are getting tons of attention and the demand keeps growing! This series of colorful, irresistible peppers offers a snappy crunch and scrumptious flavor for equal appeal to the eye and palate. Juicy, sweet fruit reach 1 ½ inches wide and 3 ½ inches tall. Uniform plants produce heavy yields for lots of healthy munching. Purple, Orange and Yellow Available
